CUP OF LIFE

Drink from the cup of life,

A tiny taste will do!

A child need not worry

For there is much for you

Drink from the cup of life,

Gulp up with zeal and zest,

Savor much in youth

For there is plenty left

Drink from the cup of life,

Though its half way through

Sip and salivate the taste

as life seems long and full

Drink from the cup of life,

A quarter yet remains.

Forget about the loss

And focus on the gains

Drink from the cup of life,

Sip slowly and with care

Savor every drop old one

For soon the cup is bare
